He just brought SuperMom a Fish!!! Clapping The images are hard to see, but the body language in the live action told the story.

Hard to see, but you can make out the red image of the top of the headless fish in his left talon

Mom took the fish and flew off down and out over the river. Hard to see the fish but look at the elongated item in her talon.

Hurrah, Christine, thanks for being here and oh Happy Easter indeed. Grin

And thanks, BET, for the s'caps from your videos. I noted at 2:15pm when I peeked in that Mom was just sitting mid-nest looking around and that she wasn't her usual industrious self. Nest-building on her own didn't appeal to her or so it seemed, - she needed her partner. Cool that in Dad should fly shortly after. Osprey Red Heart

Thanks also for the capture of the fish delivery, BET. I saw that sequence live and thought it was rather strange but it makes sense now that there was a food drop.

8:20 pm Mom has been sitting on the near edge of her nest in the lovely spring sunshine (12C) for the twenty minutes that I have had the cam up again. So nice to have our pair back home! Clapping

Mom flew off just after I posted but she has returned to the nest again at 8:24pm and is doing some nestorating. And away again......

Around 8:40 Mom came to the nest and started to do some nestorations. Dad flew in with a fish and just stood there. Mom really worked on one little branch while dad waited. After about 5 minutes, dad flew off with the fish and mom finally stopped working on the branch and looked around as if you say "Where did you go?"

My heartfelt thanks to you all today -- Christine, JD, BET for your wonderful s'caps and updates....I am late getting back here today and am so thrilled to see this beautiful couple together again....I had watched a bit earlier, when they were on the nest together, and they do seem very at ease with each other.
So happy for them Cloud 9 ...what a wonderful day!

One returns with a stick. I'm pretty sure this is Dad from looking at the head marking but I could be wrong.

Dealing with a stubborn stick. Part of the stick is stuck down below the wire flooring which is proving to be a problem.
