hi judyb

I have ad blocker 0.6.7 fx.xpl on ff and it does not look like what you posted. do you know how to just disable for hwf cams? I hope I can do that with what I have.
Thank You

ducky121

Hello Ducky -- I am using FF as well with windows 8pro and am still working to understand all it's features.
I am able to adjust the ad blocker from the 'tools' drop down menu at the top of the page

tools >> ad Block >> disable on this page only
Maybe this can help.

Thanks for posting, Carole! That seems to happen if you open or reload/refresh a cam and the browser window is too small - I've had it happen a bunch of times, and haven't found a solution except to make the window bigger and reload/refresh the cam (and watch the ad again). And I keep forgetting to put it on the list to tell Peter - so thank you for posting it here where it will get to him.

Terry, I think we do have some options about the time stamp on the side view cam - but only in color combinations, not font size. Is this better? It may not be obvious at this time of day, but there is now a white bar where the semi-transparent gray bar used to be.

We can also have white letters on a solid black background - but that seems more intrusive to me, at least while we're using the full-tree view. What do you think?

Thanks for the info on the Safari update, Judy! And ducky121, did what Terry posted help?

Wonderful news! Congratulations, Bev! Left thumb up

It is hard to write instructions so they are clear to everyone - if anyone has suggestions for making anything clearer, please let me kno.

And both Harrison Mills cams are coming up, streaming for a minute - then going down. I think it's time to try closing the browser and starting from scratch, rather than going with refresh/reload.

Thanks, Marg. I have gotten that occasionally - and sometimes the cams will start up again if I click the button in the center - and sometimes I've needed to reload the page to get the cams to come back up. The Harrison Mills embedded cams did go offline for a while overnight and are happily streaming again now (with an eagle on the nest!)

Thank you JudyB, yes I realized that the cams had also gone down.
I posted it in case it happened to somebody else.
