Hi Judi...Yes, that's Mom with the beautiful streaks by her eyes. I've not seen another bald eagle with those. When we (HWF) first found this nest...maybe 2 or 3 years ago...we thought that the Mom must be a very young eagle between 4 and 5 years old because of the dark coloring on her head. I guess it's just her individual markings. It does indeed make the parents easy to tell apart on this nest. Smile

Happy nest watching...this is a great nest to watch!!

Here they are ...all lined up and all awake at the same time. They spent most of the day laying around and sleeping in Mom's shade. Not too much food today but had a good feed just before bedtime The tiny one seems to be growing well but is still light gray fuzzy compared to his nestmates.

I haven't been able to access this cam for awhile

6:45 nest time logged in to see the end of a filling breakfast. Older 2 aren't even interested in more food. So the tiniest is getting a lot of good food bites! they have grown so much!!

Some sort of messy precipitation this morning - big drops/chunks of something drifting by the cam. It took some work, but I think Mom actually got all three of them underneath - though I see a wing suggesting one of the big ones hasn't decided how she feels about that!
