Just before this shot the little one was on the left end getting all the food. When Mom switched to the middle...so did the little one. I think he got most of the food at this late afternoon (about 4:45) feeding!!Wub He is pretty clever.

Thanks everyone for all the pictures. I don't always have much time to watch during the day, so it's nice to see what I've missed.

Not sure if you've heard, but it sounds like the infrared camera is no longer available. A friend just went to a presentation by Bob Anderson from the Raptor Resource Center and he told the group that they had lost the camera. They won't be able to get back to the nest until October to fix the problem with it. According to this article, they think that a squirrel may have chewed the wires on the infrared camera.

Let's hope that nothing else happens to the daytime camera so that we'll have plenty to watch for the next few months.

We've had beautiful weather the last few days, mostly in the mid-60s. The good weather is supposed to last for a few more days -- and we're loving it!!!

That is cute - I'll add a pic after breakfast! love

Did you see the second adult arrive with a very fresh fish, Judi? It sort of flopped on top of Very Little - who wasn't at all sure he wanted quite that much breakfast! TitterTitter

All was well in the end - one adult continued he feeding while the other one took the fish to another corner and prepared it for serving - but I was glad the fish wasn't any bigger or Little any smaller! Smile

edited to add pics of three in a row

Judy I'm sorry I missed that! too cute! my computer keeps freezing up

10:40 as the eaglets were slowly waking up parent began feeding the littlest then the other 2 joined in.

This nest is so cushy even the older lets struggle walking across the bowl.

tiny eaglet let one of the bigger ones have it right around 10:40. This guy is spunky!
