"We sure like the osprey nest, maybe it should be ours?
Who will tell the ospreys?
With us telling them it could take hours.

All y'all viewing go and tell them that it now is too late,
as we have decided on this exact date,
to make this our own place.

There is plenty of room and we can even groom,
so voila it is ours.
Smile

Hi Carolyn and Bev! hug Sorry I haven't been around for a few days. My weekend started with the removal of a bridge and then a root canal (a three hour procedure) and things went down hill after that. Spent some painful time on Saturday until my wonderful dentist (bless his heart for taking my call on the weekend) prescribed something to help kickstart the healing process. So yesterday, I had to do everything I planned to do on Saturday, including all of my laundry, grocery shopping, cleaning a bit, getting out winter clothes, etc. Now I need a nap!!! sigh sign

Thanks so much for checking on our family. Blackwater Refuge reported on their FB page that the osprey nest was full of turkey vultures 'til one of our parents showed up. Guess we know who is boss! Very Happy

No sign of them this morning at the osprey nest or their home nest. However, it appears the have been building a wall at the 12 o'clock area of the nest. Atta boy Dad! (I'm sure Mom supervised).

Bev - thank you for the wonderful scappies! Carolyn, thank you for the verse. The cam at the osprey nest has a great view! Perhaps it can be their summer home!

Good Morning Blackwater Buds......

Turkey Vultures? Oh boy was I wrong....I was hoping it was juvies. I should know they don't come back to their area so soon, actually for years if that.

Lonette, you sure had a battle with teeth issues. I am glad you dentist helped you! The nest looks fantastic with that wall around it. I guess the osprey
platform is place to get away from the nest to rest. They do so much work to make their nests right so at the right time they can concentrate on the important
little things. Smile
