I thought I heard one, too. It is indeed wonderful to have sound!

(Slightly off-topic, but somewhat relevant - I also watch a cam on a nest in Maine, and the adults are beginning to work on the nest - and we have most often been seeing them at dusk and dawn.)

I see one of the zoomers has gone looking - and this is why I'm so happy that we have both cams streaming - no one can sneak into the nest while the zoomer is checking the likely perches!

Hi all ... I zoomed around again.... i didn't see any eagle/eagles....of course it is getting dark.... even hard to see those white heads now....

7:03-7:04 p.m.: Zoomer went touring around the nest territory to see if any eagles could be seen. What is the white fuzz caught on branches in the nest? Is that from eagles' head or tailfeathers?

Thank you for taking a quick zoom around Bev, and Hi JudyB. It is really wonderful to have sound here this year. Hearing the eagle call out tonight was great! Even if we couldn't see it. It sounded distant. Way down by the river somewhere. Maybe we will spot it or them tomorrow.
