I know what you mean Bev.................with her foot that way it makes me wonder if she will ever mate and make a home for herself and family..................or does that foot mean that she would not be "attractive" as a suitable mate and also that she would not be able to look after little ones? Hunting for food could be quite a challenge for her but she has survived since we last saw her. It may be a hard enough life for her just to survive herself.......................wish we could help her but I know that is impossible.............our hearts are full of love for her and we hardly know her. Sitting eagle Red Heart

Hi Rita! Thanks for the video...............I'll take a look right now.

Rita and Bev, just watched the video..................definitely something startled her..............no way she just decided to leave. Too bad...............she could have used a long night's rest. Could be Honeycombs on patrol...............maybe eagles are more active at night than we thought.

Goodnight ladies........................see you tomorrow...............try to sleep.........Byebye

I had been watching too, but missed her quick departure -- I am so sorry -- I hope with all my heart she's OK...Sad
I looked at Rita's video at least 5 times, and at about the time mark of 7:08-09-ish, you can see a dark shadow sweep by in the bottom left hand corner, as she abruptly exits...happens in a split second, maybe a protective Honeycomb, but I don't think we'll ever know......
