Eagles are flying back and forth today. This is awesome! This eagle was heading to the right.

Hi everyone. Someone asked about the Mission nest. There has been no activity reported to us about the nest cam tree on Percy's property. However David Hancock and I and other members have personally observed Jack and Jill over at their new nest across the road.

As far as the many screenshots of the flats are concerned, better to have more pics than needed than to miss something. Research can often be very boring with lots of seeming repetitions. Thanks for the work of those who posted them as well as the exciting ones of Ma and Pa in the nest yesterday. I couldn't wait to tell David. It is especially exciting to know that it is the same Mrs. Honeycomb as last year but also Mr. Honeycomb is the same eagle with that distinctive black strip on his tail feather.

Now I just am bursting at the seams to post the identify of Mrs. Honeycomb as I finally got the report from the bander with her details about Ma's history. David asked me to add it to the lengthy article that he has written about the history of the Harrison Mills nest. I did that and then he asked me to send it back to him before releasing it on the forum and to the media and raptor rehabilitators. I know I keep asking you all to stay tuned but hopefully it won't be long now.

Hi all! Rita, you did get some great scaps of eagles in flight! Zoomer is panning and I saw a couple of eagles on the flats in the second scap, and an eagle in flight in the last.

Thanks, Karen - last season was great with the geese showing up and maybe we'll get lucky again this year. Also good to know that Jack and Jill are back!

12:17pm Not sure if this is a parked boat in the middle of the scap, but there is a boat moving left to right in the background.
