I'm not sure about that, Karen, but I read in the Sun a couple of weeks ago, that the run had started. I probably spoke too soon [and off the cuff ]

A run is not the same as spawning. We are having runs of sockeye down here also but there are no dead carcasses to attract the eagles. It is only after the rivers freeze up north leaving the carcasses under ice that the eagles are forced to fly southward to find their food. Hope this makes sense. David Hancock can explain it much better than I.

I just heard trills!!!! This is the only cam I have up. Anyone else???
Found the trills section in the archives and did a video mark. Looked everywhere and could not spot an eagle. Have no idea where it was.
