Was off line for a few days...... has Dad finally let go of the egg? I hope so. So much energy and effort going into incubating an egg that will never hatch, for so very long, cannot be good for the adult. Next year will be a much better season for this wonderful couple, I'm sure. We adore all these couples and learn so much watching them!

Good Morning noramike..Yes.. Mom and Dad are getting on with their lives although they do drop in the nest from time to time ...keeping an eye on their territory........and it is wonderful to see them
