The purpose of this thread for African Wildlife is to provide viewers with basic information and references as they apply to some of the current live African cam web sites.
There are three cams located in Sabi Sand (which everyone calls Sabi Sands), an area consisting of privately owned game reserves, that is adjacent to and part of the Kruger National Park in eastern South Africa. Another live cam is located at Mashatu Game Reserve in southeastern Botswana.
Djuma Game Reserve, Nkorho, and Elephant Plains :
- have a dam and/or watering holes (WH) for the animals.
- They are located in the area called 'Sabi Sands'.
- The Nkhoro Pan is approximately 7 or so miles east from the Djuma Game Reserve.
- Elephant Plains is west of Djuma and Nkorho Pan.
Here is a map that Graham Cooke has been kind enough to let us post of the WE traversing area of Djuma:

- WildEarth at Djuma besides having cams monitoring the dam and pan, consists of a Landrover with a ranger and a camera person. There are several dams and watering holes on this reserve. They drive (twice a day, and at times have a third night drive) discussing and streaming live video of what is actually being seen. They also have shows from the WildEarth camp such as 'Fireside Chats' and other shows. Check out the WildEarth Schedule for days and times. This is the link to WildEarth at Djuma Game Reserve site:
- Nkorho Pan and Elephant Plains - are presented by Africam.com. The main access site for both is at:
