11:42-:46a - Mom & Dad eagle arrive. M eagle has prey and lands
with it on the short branch in front of the nest.

D eagle flies to branches behind the Y. She stays on the short branch about
30 seconds before moving to the nest with her food.

11:48a - She picked up her duck and from the plumage, it looks like
a Lesser Scaup. I could be wrong of course; didn't see the whole thing, lol.

a vole (I think) a week or so ago.

12:38pm............Good afternoon all! I see we have an adult in the nest and from reading back on your posts I know that both were here a few moments ago. This one has a black spot on its forehead.....................probably debris of some sort. Too bad we couldn't use it to ID this bird.

12:50p - M eagle still in the nest and calling out softly. I now hear noises
from the cam branch so that's why she's calling out, lol.

Byebye Hello Jean, I thought that spot might be dirt when this eagle first came to
the nest but now I don't think so but could be wrong. In any case, that's how I have
been identifying her.


I'm really out now for a while Out1:00p.
