Welcome to the Official Launch Day of the Southwest Florida Eagle Cam Season 2.
Currently both cams can be found at the DPRE site...

At this time, the ustream site only shows the Fixed Cam (nest tree cam).

If everything goes as planned with the 'official launch' today,
both cams can also be found on the Ustream site.
The only difference, is that ustream site allows you to pop out the chat if you use that feature.

From the WA (wide angle/PTZ) cam.

Ozzie departing to fetch a stick to add to the nest.
They both spent a lot of time at the nest on this morning,
taking turns bringing in sticks or fluff.


Both perched and resting after spending all that time working on the nest.



Edited video: Harriet visited the nest for quite a while this morning. When the cams came back on line at 8:40am, Harriet was in the nest, where she stayed for nearly an hour - calling periodically. She flew up to the attic for a short while before taking off.

Here is a fun video of the famous tree frogs that visit this nest. It is almost always a sure thing, when the IR light comes on, the frogs show up. Well, er, maybe we can see them better because their eyes glow.
