wave Hi there!
I was able to make 2 trips down to the nest area today, one this morning with eagletwatcher & MM from the Norfolk, VA forum, who drove all the way up from Sacramento!!! We found Patriot in the "family tree" and took some shots of him.Left thumb up

Later in the day I met Eagle Eye down there and we were treated to both adults in the family tree!Left thumb upLeft thumb up Hopefully Eagle Eye got some good shots, too?

It was a great day for eagle watchers, that's for sure!lovelovelove

Very nice shots, eaglewoman. Nice to see you and the eagle family in person again. It was like they were all waiting for you and posing today.

Here are two pictures I took after you left. Patriot flew off about three or four minutes after you left, circled above the river a couple times then flew off in the direction of the nest. Liberty hung out with me for about ten or fifteen minutes, then flew off toward the nest also. But I didn't see either of them when I walked back and passed by the nest viewing area.

Patriot is in one photo on a branch above Liberty, like in eaglewoman's photo, but his head is turned 180 degrees and he is looking in the direction of the nest.

The other photo is of Liberty. She is looking a little disheveled.

What wonderful pictures, eaglewoman and Eagle Eye! I bet Patriot and Liberty are enjoying the fact that they can have an "evening out" without one of them being constantly at the nest - though I see they are still keeping a watchful eye on their growing eaglets. It looks as if Peace was seven weeks old yesterday, and Shasta is seven weeks old today - wow! Grin
