Grin Thanks Eagle Eye!
As we both well know, timing IS everything, especially when it comes to eagle viewing and photography!

It was an especially exciting night for me down at the nest!! Even though I ddin't get down there until after 7:15 p.m., I was able to fend off the monster mosquitoes and got my first great views of 2 of the eaglets!!! (I'm afraid little Justice or "Rocky" as I call him/her, isn't quite tall enough to be seen from down below yet!Titter)

It was very special, and I said hi to them for the first time in person, and they looked down at me like I was some kind of a nut! (How can they tell that from so far away?!? Oh yeah, they have that eagle eye thing going for them, don't they?!?TitterTitter)

Anyway, it was awesome, and if anyone from around these parts wants to see those little guys in person, let me know!!!

Despite the late hour, I took a few pics of Mom & Dad. Mom is sitting proudly above the nest, and Dad is taking a break on a branch nearby...

8:50 a.m. Monday...
I got a nice close-up of Peace up and at 'em while the other 2 sleep, and Mom watches over them all.
Peace went over to the leftover fish and looks like he wants to try self-feeding this morning!

Very cool scaps, eaglewoman. It is so interesting to watch these eaglets develop. "I see fish, I smell fish, I try to eat fish!"

Baby Gate Installation Day!
Pat & Libby were installing a baby gate around the perimeter, but were having quite a time of it!
The poor eaglets were ducking and bobbing trying not to get hit in the head with the stickTitter

Great pictures of Peace trying to self-feed, eaglewoman! Let's see - she hatched Match 25, so she's 25 days old - about 3-1/2 weeks! That does seem a little early for self-feeding - but she looks to be a determined young eaglet! Grin

And I love the picture of Justice helping with the nest rails! Grin
