It has been our tradition to post our attendees names and their hometowns for every FledgeFest we have had. There has never been a problem.

How do you know that Terry? My point is there is no need to post our last names just because we plan to attend a fledgefest or any other HWF gathering.
That is private info that is given to Karen for the rsvp. You call it tradition, I call it a lack of respect for our privacy.
I also know that you where asked to do this list .

I would gladly remove any personal information from the list of attendees if asked to do so. I guess my point is that no one has ever asked. I started the list of attendees tradition on my own in 2007? 2008? No one 'asked' me to do it.
It is only because this is a very large event, reaching out to so many of David's friends and contacts, that Karen set up the email RSVP. Many attendees are not forum members. Most of the time is is all handled on the forum.

Looks like I'm going...going to be a blast! And I'll be coming with my friend Annemie who came back into town last night to see if she could help out with rescue of the fish hook injured young mallard at the Hastings Park Sanctuary. That had a happy ending by the way {thanks for all involved in that}

Since she's sticking around now we talked and decided to make the trip out on Sunday together to meet some of the new friends we've made on the forum since recently joining. Annemie took care of sending out the news to Karen of our attendance so once we get the directions we'll be set to go

We had a wonderful time today the weather was perfect. David, Mary, Karen, Sharon and everyone who made it such a success. Nice meeting Terri and Kit from California and many other people I hadn't met before, and of course great to meet up with our long time eagle lover friends. I'm sure there'll be a lot of pictures posted mine will be posted when we get home tomorrow.
