Junior's HOME Waitin' In The Nest...2 Fish Delivered by Mom & Dad~7-23-17
Video & Photos: Judy/UrDogNu

I was so excited to hear and see Junior in the nest when I arrived around noon. Within 10 minutes, the male delivers a small fish to the nest. He flies to his favorite west tree perch. Not even five minutes go by and the female flies into the nest with a much larger fish. Mom stays close and they both eat. The male took off soaring overhead for about 10 minutes until I lost sight of him.

First dads fish.

The male was perched in the lakeside tree, just west of the nest. As I was setting up my camera, the female flew in from the lake to perch near the male. Within 10 minutes, both flew to perch in the old nest tree. A bit later, the female took off, did a fly around and flushed the male right out of his perch. He flew off over the nesting Grebes and headed west. .

Driving away from the nest, it was quite a sight to see a Buck, Doe and Fawn grazing together.
