Great scaps, elfjune. Very Happy I also saw Kai branching big time in the morning. I took a few pics but forgot them to my work computer, but now I see you have even better ones. Left thumb up
The nest has been empty every time I checked in the evening. Kai, are you still there on the branches?

9.36 PM I see mole(s) and flies.

Kai was on the Jay branches but was stuck between the branch and the nest. He kept bobbing his head and then jumped but ended up going down.

6:02 am Kai went in the direction of the arrow.

6:04 am I saw the arrowed branch move and I can hear her feathers rustle and the branch move every so often. I guess she is preening from another branch.

See if she can get back up when a parent comes by. Now the stream is down. 6:15 am

Cam has been more down then up after 6:30 am. Did see Kai briefly when the cam was up around 7:22 am. She was on the nest and it looked like she was picking at something but she was by the right branch and had her back to cam so it was hard to say. Stream then went down again at 7:23 am.

It is up at 8:15 am but no idea where Kai is. Do not even hear her feathers. Maybe she is out on the 3 o'clock branch.

Oh, no. I can hear Kai but the voice is far away. 8:49 am Kai is calling as if she sees a parent. Don't Panic

No details at LK.

8:55 am Has been quiet since 8:50 am.

[Just noticed that someone said 'Kai' is a female name in Estonian. Guess I will have to watch my pronouns. Nodding yes]

9:15 am Parent came to nest at 3 o'clock and made two harsh calling sounds and then took off towards the 1:30 position as the branch trunk of the tree hid the flight. Can hear Kai calling loudly so Kai can see the parent. But again, the voice is very distant. Apparently Kai has fledged, whether intentionally or not. At least parent knows where she is.

9:18 am Can still hear Kai calling loudly.

9:24 am Quiet.

10.20 AM Eha was looking around alone at the nest. No signs of Kai.

6:21 am Empty nest. But it's a good thing. Smile Kai did seem antsy and ready though. Very different from last year's Kalev. He didn't go away that far so would return. Same with the Latvian eaglet. Haven't seen the Latvian nest this year. Cannot find the link.

I did hear some feathers but probably the Jay.

elfjune, wave here is the link to Latvian thread forum/viewtopic.php?showtopic=507672 There´s also link to the cam. The Latvian eaglet has also fledged, but he´s been back at the nest too.
We´ll see if Kai will return to the nest. I think Kalev came back once last year after the fledge. But most likely Kai will have more fun and interesting life outside the nest now. They say that it´s possible that Lesser Spotted Eaglets learn to hunt with their Dads. I hope Kai is having superb time with Koit in the hunting fields. Left thumb up

9.02 AM The nest is empty, no new food either.
