Yes--when you right-click on a s'cap you get a url that you can post on the forum. Your post reminded me of how to do that

When you right-click on a video, you get a url too but it has a .wmv extension (Windows Media/Video). If you post that url, then when you click on it, the Windows Media Player opens up and the video plays.

This "works" OK but it is much better (and faster) for the video to play on the Media Gallery itself.

I clicked on the video in the Sidney album - it came up in it's own page - I clicked it again - and it played in it's own Hancock window!
No right clicking or WMP involved!
I set the album up to play videos in-line!

As you say - the url is in the address panel at the top

When that opens - click on the picture! Grin

Thanks, Terry Red Heart

But the trouble I'm having is after I've uploaded the video to the Media Gallery. Grin

I uploaded a video of Dad Sidney to the Media Gallery. Then I wanted to post a link to the video on the forum. Normally I copy/paste the url that is in the long while box at the top of the screen (forget what it's called).

When I did that and clicked on the link, I got an error message (something about not having access).

So I need to know how/where to get the url for a video that's already uploaded to the Media Gallery. Right clicking and copying the URL there sort of works but what it does is open up your Windows Media Player and plays the video. I don't want that to happen Evil I want the video to play within the Media Gallery itself.

Any ideas Puzzled

I think you mean you post the url that's in the Browser's Address Bar? that's what I'd do too. Let's see if it works for me.

Definitly some thing wrong.... error message for me too!

I came for the eagles, and stayed for the friends I made

I wonder if it's a browser thing.

Pat posted

and Skipper posted

Which is similar but has the extra amp; included:

No clue what to do about it....

And it certainly should work better than this.

Hi Judy - I think David sent an email to both of us and several other people because we have all been posting pictures of the White Rock nest, and several of us sent our replies to everyone. I think that discussion is winding down, so you shouldn't get many more of those group emails.

And while it's a little off topic - thanks so much for all the great pictures of the White Rock nest! Smile

I was wondering there is a way to upload your pictures to an album and have them sorted alphabetically even if you upload them out of date order. Anyone if there is a setting to accommodate that?

May you enjoy all of the simple "pleasures or gifts" that surround you.
