Mom had been brooding for quite awhile. She stood up and started working the nest bowl. Not pushing the eggs, but digging the nest material beside the eggs. One of the eggs did sort of roll into the deeper cavity. She spent two full minutes doing this. Started out facing the cam and gradually circled, digging a bit at each step. Ended up facing the way she started and lay back down on the eggs

10:11am MDT

Mom stood up, backed up from the eggs. She stepped all around the back edge of the nest looking at the eggs anxiously. I was hoping something was happening. But, as far as I can tell, they all look the same. Mom flew off - returned quickly.

This is day 37 for the first egg. That egg was the one involved with the huge plastic garbage bag and might not have been kept at the proper temp. The egg shells are so stained from the cedar bark that I do not know the order of the eggs anymore

Mom is still incubating the eggs.

Wonder where Dad got to ? He's probably found a dry spot out of the rain.

1:10pm MDT June 15

Mom jumped up and back from the eggs. As she did earlier, she stepped around the back of the nest looking at the eggs and then moved back. She moved the eggs a bit as she settled down, but I could not get a good view of the eggs after the move.

The middle egg looks strange. I tried enlarging it more, but too pixilated to see anything.

A very brief view of the eggs - interesting mark on the middle one. May be grass and wishful thinking
