The first egg was laid on May 9, so it's only 31 days old todayGrin

2:01 pm
Raining hard with the adult laying flat out on the eggs to keep them dry. Parent raised it's head once and this looks like Dad but the feathers are so wet that it could well be Mom. :dunno:

Cam had been frozen for quite some time. Came back up about 1:15pm

Dad flew in with a headless fish for Mom.

June 11 7:40pm MDT

Dad backed off the eggs, looked about, and then took off. I guess he had to go! Grin as he seemed to be in a big hurry.

Within a minute Mom was visible flying in from up river.

She too was in a hurry, - to cover the eggs. She wasted no time in landing

and covering the eggs. No turning No checking

When I have seen her on the nest today, she has been quite restless. Constantly semi-standing and checking the eggs with her beak. Not sure if she was rolling them or just poking at them as her body was in the way. It is that time that the first one should be stirring about and she must feel the egg move under her - For the females that read this and have gone through a pregnancy, I bet it is like getting kicked in the ribs!!! Roll eyes
