12:20pm MDT

Well I did it again - Made a post - previewed it - and never hit the submit button so it is long gone.

Dad arrived on the nest at 12:20. Did a few wing threats.

He hit Mom with his wings a few times. She got up and moved off the egg. Looks like it might be off the plastic (That plastic really scares me - wish they would bring the cherry picker in and remove it - I think it would be justifiable as it endangers the eggs)
Dad decided to move a stick to a new location

A good view of the egg

In the hour since I originally posted this, the bag has caused a lot of problems. Dad was able to shove it to the back side. Mom flew back in and Dad performed his duty to ensure the next egg will be fertile. While that was going on, the wind blew the plastic on top of the egg. Mom is now trying to uncover the egg. Her back is to me so I can not see if she got the egg uncovered.

wave Junie.

Glad you dropped in. AND, happy that you added some more pictures. I can't watch all the time and this pair is BUSY to say the least. Mom is new this year, in fact judging by her early image, I think she is quite young and probably a first time Mom. Dad is very experienced. He's occupied this nest for at least15 years.

Dad does like to land on her back. He does it a lot without trying to mate. I decided a good word to describe it is he is "claiming" her.

Dad just arrived at the nest, Mom took a break. He's standing there looking at that @#@$% plastic bag. I surely do wish the wind would send it on it's way.

I don't like that plastic bag, and I shudder thinking about the egg/eggs laying on it. Mama's incubating on top of that sigh sign

Always welcome Junie Welcome

If English isn't your first language, you do a remarkably fine job expressing yourself. Me, I can only speak one language and any one that can master more than one has my admiration.

Tuesday May 11

10:00am MDT (approximate)

I checked earlier this am and noted the bag was wadded up towards the back which was far better than flattened out on top of the egg as it had been when the cam went down last night. Couldn't see the egg as Mom was brooding

Dad arrived, Mom got up, Mating time
