Jessie is such a sweetie.

It was amazing to see and hear the splashing from the number of spawning salmon. Large, dead, very stinky fish were abundant on land, telling us that despite the numbers of eagles, there was left over food.



On the drive to the area I had thought the large white birds in the fields were snow geese. These 4 trumpeter swans were the only ones we saw. Now I'm not sure who was in the fields!

Last posting! We saw only 2 great blue herons total, would have expected more.

We had a wonderful weekend and went on the boat tour with David Hancock.

I am having trouble loading my pictures - it's very slow......



Lots of fish for them to feed on. The boat stopped and let us out on a sandy, rocky area - thank goodness they didn't leave us there.

We went to the Sandpiper Golf Course and saw the fish swimming up the creek.



Beautiful scenery in this area. We hiked down but got a ride back in a golf cart.

These were taken after we hiked down from the Golf Course restaurant. I must say that it was very rainy.

I needed this afterwards - it was absolutely delicious instead of choc sprinkles it was caramel drizzled over the top mmmmm.....
