The Largest population of Bald Eagles we saw were at the Harrison Flats area at the Sandpiper Golf Course area and Eagle Point. There were eagles in the hundreds perched in the trees and out on the river sandbars. They were continuously flying and soaring over head from one area to another. This is a view from the flats looking up to the golf course. This is the area that the Harrison Mills nest is located and where many eagles were perched. The nest tree has a white box at the lower trunk area. I did see the pair take flight from the nest. Wildlife Photography, Nature Provides It And We Pass It On |

The eagles were perched in trees with other eagles, I counted up to 16 in one tree. Some groupings looked to be the female, male, and their young. Wildlife Photography, Nature Provides It And We Pass It On |
