1:40 Finally, after being mia what looks like 4 of our young family with Pa ever standing guard. They wandered the yard, went back to the water and have now returned in the same number. I just looked at the screen. Gone again!

It's hard to tell if the eggs are still in our Easter basket or not. Just think of the growth by nesting season next year!

I'm afraid it's time to say goodbye - I had a quick email from Karen asking me to let everyone know that she and David will be out at Mission today removing the cams so they can be used in other nests. They're expecting to arrive at the tree around 9 am, and will probably turn the cam off shortly afterwards.

On behalf of David, Karen, and all of us who watched - thank you, Debbie and Percy, for letting us view the nest - and giving us an opportunity to learn about the very unexpected pair that used this eagle nest - Bonnie and Clyde! And thanks to Shaw Cable for help with the bandwidth for this installation!

A big thanks to all the zoomers and to all the observers and reporters who helped us learn about Canada Geese as we watched things develop. And an extra thanks to hauntedtiger, who provided full coverage of the goslings' great adventure - their trip from high in the tree to the water that would be their home for the next few months!

A few pictures from this morning -

I think there may be someone perched there - perhaps a hawk?

I saw a white van - and the cam now says Unpublish.Notify - so I think David and Karen have arrived.

Safe travels, Bonnie, Clyde and no-longer-little ones wave

And thank you all for being here. love

Judyb Thanks for the scaps and report this morning Clapping

I must admit i feel kinda sad to see the cam equipment being removed from this nest ... i really liked this Mission nest....it had a great layout for viewing imho.

It was really kool to see the geese Goose adopting the nest this season...another milestone unfolded, which was so interesting to watch.

I loved watching the geese in the nest.

I was so hopeful that the eagles would reclaim this nest next season...perhaps reports from the ground can keep us informed.

Thank You Warmest thanks to everyone that perched here this season it was an interesting season for many of us wave hug
