Good Morning Everyone!

I don't know if you have seen the announcement on the Home Page HERE that HWF now has a fish person on board who will be identifying fish brought in to the nest. Consequently, David has requested that we take close up scaps of any and all "food items" and post them in a separate thread.

A forum, HWF Nests Only - Special Collection of Scaps & Observations, has just been set up to house the "food items" thread along with any other new threads that we may be asked to collect special scaps or observations for in the future. Each "collection" will be named accordingly and housed in its own thread within the forum.

With that in mind, a thread/topic has just been created, Food Item Scaps for ID Purposes - All HWF Nests, to post "food item" scaps in and we will also be bringing over to this forum the Harrison Mills Eagle Band Scaps for ID Purposes thread.

Hopefully, the new forum will help to keep all special collections in one place and make it easier both for David to collect the information and for posters to find the appropriate thread to post their scaps in.

Just go to the top of the discussion thread you are posting in, click on Hancock Live Web Cameras and you will find the the new forum at the bottom of the list that comes up under The Chehalis Flats Preserve Discussion. Click on it and select the thread you want to post in.

Thank you all for your help and happy scapping!

Hi Carole....and Everyone!

It's really surprising that the eggs are still there? I thought for sure someone would take one.
It's great to know the little goslings are doing so well.

It's so good to have the cam back up. I too am surprised to find the eggs still there and intact, especially knowing about the eagles and hawks around, not to mention racoons, ravens, crows.
