I hadn't thought about starlings. The eggs might be a bit overwhelming in size for them. :dunno: I'm more surprised Jack and Jill, the hawks and other resident eagles have left them alone all through incubation time and now. Oh My

I agree Stim.. I thought the eagles might come by to see what was left behind. Starlings have very strong beaks, but who knows what goes through their tiny heads Grin

On the cam this morning.. I have seen 2 birds land on the branches.. one I think was a yellow rumped warbler and the other a wilsons warbler.. for those of you who watch all kinds of birds.

Thanks for the morning update, Pam - and thanks to Deb!

In case anyone hasn't had an opportunity to read Pam's ground observer report of the events yesterday, here's the link - forum/viewtopic.php?topic=522370#522370. Lots of wonderful pictures - and so great that we got to see what happened after the little family marched out of sight of the cam!

good morning viewers! Great ground reports about our family all doing wellVery Happy

We seem to be experiencing some technical difficulties on both the live feed and PTZ'ing cam this morning- hopefully a fix will happen soon - however it is a holiday here in Canada so ........it might be awhile and of course it just might fix itself ....always a mystery how that works.

Thanks for reporting the problems on the Report Cams Down thread, DD - I've sent an email to Ken, but there's usually nothing quick he can do when both are down - but as you say, they do sometimes come back on their own.

And I must confess I'd forgotten about the holiday - Happy Victoria Day to all who are celebrating!

I've heard back from Ken - he says he can connect to the server so the power is not out, but cannot connect to the cam remotely. He's hoping to go out to Mission within the next couple of days to check things out.

Thanks, Ken!

I'm glad the cam waited until after the goslings left to go offline - but I am curious if we'll see them out on the lake.

It's not exactly Spring - like weather out there. I am glad our little ones are designed for water.
