:hello:Pam.... Thank you for video.. i enjoyed seeing the creek area .. nature is so amazing, isn't it? Love seeing the salmon in the creek... it is wonderful for Jack and Jill and all wildlife to have this so close to their nest...Bless your heart for capturing this for all of us on such a wet day .... Sometimes if i look out the window at the right time of day i see Eagles flying over the Halifax Harbor.. i am sure they nest further up the Cove here.... i just didn't take the time to go look...of course they have migrated now.... I was over to see the Osprey that nest here.. they also have migrated .... not enough hours in the day.... thanks again Pam... look forward to visiting your ground observers thread when it is set up....

Chilly but sunny here in Mission.

Thanks, Pam! Getting to see the Heronry is a real treat. I wonder if the cam will be strong enough to let us get a bit of a peek at the Herons when they return.
Seeing the fish in the creek is a good reminder that it's not just Hatcherys that save our fish. Healthy streams everywhere are needed to protect the fish for the furure.
I came for the eagles, and stayed for the friends I made

Friday Night.....
Hi All....I love all the posts here as it is delightful to see the various aspects of the area.
Pamela, the heron roosts are pretty cool....we had a place within 5 minutes of my house with herons and egrets nesting. It was in a developed area so they encouraged them to nest elsewhere and I miss them. There is plenty of nesting space here so that is OK in this heavily wooded town.
The eagle nests are amazing. I hope they do set you up a place to post these nests as it could be wonderful in nesting season.
Bev, thanks for all the screen caps and Terry too.

5:19pm.........This is my first look at this camera. Very interesting area. I looked back several pages and saw references to Jack and Jill. Are they the resident eagles of this nest? Loved the pictures of the hawk too! I was amazed by the heron roost........it is quite something to see! I will try to have a peek at this nest every now and then, now that my interest has been tweaked!
:hello:Hello Sharon, Terry, Carolyn, Pam, and Bev!
