Hi Carole, Mary and friends -

9:44 pm
Late enough to get a better look at what isn't there. Sad

They're 11-1/2 weeks old - so might not be quite ready to fledge, but able to glide to other branches if necessary. I'm not seeing either of them, but there's the space they go behind the trunk, and one spends a lot of time quite a ways out on one of the branches, so may have gone further out. Keeping fingers crossed that we'll continue to see them come and go for a while, even if they don't have much of a nest left.

Hi JudyB, Mary and everyone.

3:06pm . . . From this view the nest looks completely demolished Sad
Mom seems to still have a perch or some part of the nest to bring food to feed her eaglets
Mom brought food and enticed the let to come and get it. And s/h did and then took the prey up the branch to eat while Mom kept a look out.

Carole and Judy ---those captures are just amazing! I can't believe that the entire nest is just GONE!! It fell apart so quickly--in a matter of days!! Wooh This nest has been here for quite a few years. Maybe the weather deteriorated it badly when the nest was not in use for 2 years and they really did not do much nestorating this season. I wonder if they will rebuild in this spot or go somewhere else??

Hi Mary . . . It is unbelievable the nest is gone Cry I am grateful to see the eaglets are doing well & parents are coming around to feed them. I hope hope hope they rebuild next season. Even with the refresh cam it would be an amazing experience to watch the construction.

10:48pm . . . One eaglet is perched on the right fork of the Y
