There you go Shelly---I fixed your picture for you. Make sure your screen captures are in the jpeg form and use "file" to post them. It gets easier as you try it out. Grin

Wow that is strange to see Mom sitting there in the nest. I haven't even seen any sign of an eagle there for some time---nice catch!! Left thumb up It does look like they have been doing some work in the nest doesn't it? I guess all we can do is watch the nest and see what happens. It is a bit late for eggs but who knows with these beautiful creatures? They do everything on eagle time. Green LOL

A very short update from the Washington Dept of Fish & Wildlife ~~

Update Mid-July 2013

Eaglecam temporarily off-line

Adult eagles have been observed together in and around the nest tree indicating perhaps we have a non-breeding pair for 2013 The new overhead camera looks directly into the bowl of the nest.

I think they were right about the non-breeding pair!! Grin

I did not set up a thread for this nest this year but I saw an eagle on the nest today so I have unlocked the thread and will put the s'cap here and see if anything happens with this nest.

7:50pm . . . I assume this is Mom on the nest. There is a dot on the top of her head that might help tell them apart

Hi there cococat and Twizz!! I guess I may have had a hunch when unlocked this old thread and checked this nest and found an eagle there. Grin

I was shocked to read today about there being an egg there---I guess we may have something to watch this year.

I have taken the liberty of copying this paragraph from eagleholic---Thanks Twizz!!!!! Thank You

We have an egg at the Lake Washington eaglecam!

March 18, 2014 ó

Well, what do you know, we have an egg, after two years without chicks at this nest! There was no egg yesterday, so Iím assuming it was laid in the last 24 hours. Very exciting.
