cococat---Nice B+W pics from this morning!! Left thumb up

I was finally lucky enough to catch the eagles on the nest at about 9:50AM nest time

With our new cam view this year it's not easy to tell who is who...at least not yet.

Good Morning Lake Washington!

:hello: Mary.....Nice catch of the pair in the nest. I was checking on and off during the day yesterday but didn't see any more activity.
There was some zooming done. Close up of the nest, trees and dock. Is that on automatic pilot or does someone handle the cam?

6:30am..Early morning visit....Just sitting and looking about.

cococat---Although I'm not 100% sure, I think there is a person moving that cam. It's a new PTZ probably much like the ones on the HWF nests so probably there is a "zoomer" somewhere. Puzzled

This pair does seem to like to come to the nest early in the morning, don't they?? Grin

cococat---are you near the nest? That would be exciting to be able to see them even through binoculars! Did you ever watch the Kent eagles back when they were online?

I managed to get just one scap of one of the parents yesterday. I pulled up the cam just before the eagle left the nest. It was about 5:30PM nest time and it was quite windy. I think this was Mom having a bad hair day. Grin

:hello: Mary For now i live northwest of Lake W. on San Juan Island. Next month I am moving southwest of Seattle, so I'll be about an hour away. Would like to make contact with someone to get permission for ground observation. No I never watched the Kent eagles.
