Awesome! What kind of fish are those?

Rose, those are salmon, mostly Chum salmon. As they get old and ready to lay their eggs their skin turns white in various patchy spots. They look diseased sometimes.

Re POSTING HWF VIDEOS TO YOUTUBE

Christian Sasse is looking for videos of interesting moments that happen on the HWF nests to use on his live productions on Periscope. He is requesting that all posted videos be stored on our "Hancock Wildlife Foundation" channel (not to be confused with a similarly named "Hancock Wildlife" channel) so that they are all in one private location making it easier for him to find them.

The process of posting to the Hancock Wildlife Foundation Youtube channel has been revised and hopefully is now a little easier to complete. Please go to "Some Helpful Hints" to request the password to access the HWF Channel or for help.

Both David and Christian do like to view videos posted by members but do not have the time to search the individual threads and would be most appreciative if they were all saved in one place.

Thank you for your co-operation,
Your Admin Team

Reminder:

Please do not use the similarly named “Hancock Wildlife” public channel. Thank you.

Thanks for the links. What I don't understand is that there is one fish type that is really dark. It is black or purple in color. I can never find a salmon or other fish breed that looks like that.

Monday, May 15 , 2017..

Good Morning everyone .

Update on the Cam with thanks to Judy jkr

UPDATE:

Ken was to Chehalis on the weekend to get a few things repaired. When he got home to recheck the cam he found that it is streaming but has no picture which means there is likely a break in the cable somewhere so he will be having to make a return trip. This will likely be next weekend.
