Hi Sue! I'm glad you got some scaps this morning from the underwater cam - I just tried, and the cam is down. I will report it - noticed from your scaps that the blue bands were gone Puzzled so I was wondering if it was my computer that was the problem!

Yesterday was a great day for a drive up to the Chehalis/Harrison hatcheries and a good excuse also to go to Kilby (at Harrison Mills, BC) for Thanksgiving turkey dinner.

Here's some of the salmon observed at Weaver Creek Hatchery up at the north end of Morris Valley Road.

Hi Karen and Sue - Thanks for posting your photos, Karen, and it looks like there are lots of salmon at the hatchery. It was a beautiful day yesterday and I hope you got some turkey leftovers to take home!

Glad to see the cam back up and thanks - yet again - Ken! You sure have had your work cut out for you so far this season.

Hi Sue and anyone watching! Murky water today and the salmon are not really moving too much - just drifting. The first scap shows a salmon carcass.

Hi, yojopro and Chehalis River friends!wave

9:50 a.m.: Not much activity today. Very few salmon swimming past the camera ... or any other fish, for that matter. Looks like a dead salmon on the river bottom (lower left-hand corner).
