I read this story on the Home page last evening. David rescued an eaglet who wasn't quite ready to fly. You will love the story of BlueberryWub ....David gave him that name and you will see why.

ByebyeJo & Sue. Sorry about the cams; they are all up now except S. Ptz.

Added: Thanks Karen. That statement jumped out at me.

Good morning, Annie, Jo, Karen, nightowl and White Rock friends!wave

Karen, thank you for that correction! I have not been watching long enough to know that fact; what I did know is that our eagles have headed north for greener pastures/more salmon-filled streams, and so that's what jumped out at me. How amazing that the true biggest gathering spot for eagles is right in our HWF cams' backyard! I borrowed from your posting here and also posted a comment; we'll see if they run it.

7:41 a.m.: Three of our four cams (south PTZ cam isn't working) are showing a wet, misty morning today.

I posted this link yesterday but wanted to make sure you didn't miss it. I read this story on the Home page last evening. David rescued an eaglet who had fallen from it's nest & wasn't quite ready to fly. You will love the story of BlueberryWub ....David gave him that name and you will see why.Smile

I Red Heart a story with a happy ending! Thank you for sharing, Annie! (Blueberry is now my favourite eaglet name.) Thanks to Christian, Rosana and Tina for the great photos (my favourite is the one of David pondering the eaglet in the grass). And thank you to David and OWL for doing such wonderful work!

Thanks, Sue, for posting part of my remarks since they did not run my comments. I have since tried again. Maybe they don't like the fact that I also included the website links to the Fraser Valley Bald Eagle Festival as well as to HWF.
