Good Morning All :hello:

Glad I wasn't here to see the "thing" draped around the O yesterday or I would have freaked. Now that I look back at the s'caps it may have been a piece of grass.

7:51 am
Not sure who's on the nest at the moment but at least the eggs are covered.

Will we have egg #3 today fingers crossed

Curious -- I haven't seen more than one O since I turned on the cam at 7:40 a.m.....and I'm still not sure which O this is. Maybe this is Dad and Mom's out enjoying a fish somewhere :dunno: And, if this is Mom then where the heck is Dad with his stick deliveries Puzzled ..... or I could have missed something when I went to refill my coffee cup. :ds:

8:50 am
Still no sign of second adult.

Up for a stretch and flies off. The O made one quick turn before flying off and it looked like Dad to me. Wish I had caught it to take a better look.

Dad ( I think) returns within a minute. I'm not seeing darker breast feathers.

Where the heck is Mom ? I wish they'd show up together so I know it's not only the one O I've seen this morning.

9:11 a.m.
I'm out -- I have errands to run. Hope someone is watching to record if both O's are accounted for this morning. I find it very odd to not see both on the nest this early in the day since Dad was home so often the past few days.

Hi jkr....

I have been checking (as I am stuck in house with thunderstorms and cannot walk) but so far only see one. I am not sure though if it is the same one as I don't watch constantly.
(I guess I am not much help Smile)

I'm back but only for a few minutes.

The O on the nest keeps dozing off.
No idea if this is the same O that was here when I left but thanks for your report Carolyn.
Which ever one this is doesn't seem to concerned about the other one not being available. Maybe we worry too much.

This is still the same bird.
I find this very peculiar not seeing both birds -- not even so much as a fly by.

No idea if this is the same bird -- the head marking on this one looks a bit different. :dunno:Puzzled
I am hoping they just made a switch.

Out I'm out for the day.

I have not been recording this am. Just read Judy's comments re who is who and have they both been there. Yes both have been on the nest

The image above posted at 12:18 Pacific is Dad. You can see the tiny white spot in the middle of his top skull marking.

It is currently 12:35 Pacific - 1:35 nest. I am not sure who is on the nest. She/He just flew off. And 30seconds later a He/SHe flew in and settled down on the eggs giving a rear view. So I don't know who it is.

I was noting that the river is rising. The front arrow head of the sand bar has gone under water. At this moment it looks like a bunch of gulls have settled on the shallows and Dad just flew in. Stayed a minute or less and flew off again

Edit: I forgot to mention my thoughts on egg 3. Mom has always laid her eggs 2 1/2 to 3 days apart so she will probably deliver the next one early am tomorrow the 11th. Now that's not for sure, I am not an oracle.Grin
