May 6 Monday

:hello:
Sometime during the night or early am Mom returned to the nest When I woke early I decided to check on the status

We have an EGG[Clapping Grin

When I first logged on, Dad flew in with a fish and Mom stood up. They both looked at the egg. Mom returned to brooding and Dad ate the fish. The sun had risen enough to give everything that glorious red glow.

Edit: Dad has crouched down in the nest bowl perpendicular to Mom. Guard Duty!! He is taking his job very seriously

My getting up and back to bed etc woke up my dog. Her insistence on having to go out has me back checking the status.

Talk about being protective! Now he is snuggled right up next to her. I missed catching the image of their beaks touching.

I am going to try to get back to sleep now - again. But I have a feeling my dogs are going to take advantage of the early rising.

Mom rolling her egg.
Dad is watching intently. Maybe he is wishing Mom would leave so he can have a turn on the egg.Green LOL
Just by watching his actions this morning I think he is going to be a wonderful Dad.

Mom has finally settled. She looks more comfortable now that Dad has vacated the bowl.

Spoke too soon --- she's up again rearranging the grass in the bowl.... pulls a stick out of the bowl and settles down again.
No -- she's up once again to do more rearranging.
Dad is sticking to this nest like glue.

7:37am
Dad finally decided to fly off so Mom has some quiet time to herself.
