Good morning Carolyn, Janet and all who visit here!
Janet, that is top notch video that you've shared with us!! I have a gigantic smile from ear to ear...it is so heartwarming to see our family up close in action, enjoying supper, interacting with one another... I just love seeing how healthy each one of them is. They are such a happy family! Red Heart And I am so proud of Supermom and Dad. Such great caregivers aren't they? Did you see how full that chick's crop is??! --the one that you zoomed in on, that is perched in the tree just right of the nest Wowsers!
Janet, I thank you so much for going down there again, it is soooo appreciated! What an awesome way to start the day.

Janet!

Spectacular! Big hugs

Thank you so much. I enjoyed all - the images and the video. I did have to laugh while I was watching the video. There was one chick on the left side of the nest, obviously squawking. In fact the sound she was making was louder than the aircraft which amused me - and then I started laughing out loud. The audio was being provided by the Hellgate chick that had arrived at the nest, the window with his image hidden by the Utube window.

Again, I thank you

Oh BET, that is great! Often I am in my house with Hellgate up in my study and I hear a bird squawking.......look outside the window and finally realize. Smile
Those Hellgate chicks can carry their voices far, yes?

I am astonished Janet that you can get the video so perfectly from so far away - quite a trick. Bravo!

It is superb that this family is so well.......

Off topic, NOT NOT NOT related to the Zoo nest in any way !!!!!!!!
Heavy heart today, another of the nests I drive by often, had a dead osprey below it today.
Someone told me they drove by last week and there was a fight, not sure if actually on the nest or nearby
There are power poles all around...
It has been a strange nest this year, someone mentioned it could have possibly had a new partner.
The osprey seemed to be constantly upset and flying off the nest.
Reminder that we need to appreciate and enjoy our osprey, but from a distance.
These creatures are rare and precious.
I dearly hope and pray that human activity did not contribute to this. RIP dear friend.
