1:00pm MDT

I was starting to fix lunch and watching the cam from a distance. Mom and Dad to be flew in at the same time. Both stood in the nest looking all around the area. Sometimes in sync

I was thinking how well these two suited each other and how well they were working together -

Mom looked at Dad to be and I don't know what she said but He responded by flying up and off the nest hovering while she continued her threat

He came back down on the corner of the box - Mom said Get and he did

No doubt who is ruling the roost!!

wave Everyone,

Thank You for keeping me up to date this weekend. It is a busy time of the year for me so I have not had much time to watch the cam so to get the updates at the forum is great.

I did watch the cam for a short time and saw a fish delivery sometime around 6 or so this evening. At first, I thought it was a stick but then mom took it and flew to her favourite pole for supper.

My mom and I took a trip to another nesting area in Calgary -- Janet has mentioned it. It is at 22X. The geese are still on the nest and while we were there, a poor osprey kept flying around the nest but the goose went into defensive mode each time. I am so glad Enmax clears off the zoo nest.

Good night

Christine

Good Morning jkr, BET jd, Janet, Christine, Jean, Terry....whew......great nest!

Christine, I feel badly for both geese and osprey. Maybe the geese are almost done? Let's hope so osprey can get down to business.

It's good to see the stick positioning increasing. Power sticks we call them?

Have a happy viewing day,
carolyn

Good morning Everyone. :hello:
I didn't get much cam time yesterday and I thank you all very much for the screen captures and updates.

A mating took place a few minutes ago and I forgot to check the time....it was around 8:00ish

Mom has been busy rearranging the furniture.
They have done an amazing amount of work on this nest.

Green LOL Dad is standing with his body between the Y of a branch. He has one part in front of him, trying to place it on the nest. Meanwhile Mom keeps grabbing the other part of the Y and wants to place it behind him. Of course it's going nowhere ! Rolling on floor laughing

Busy Busy O's

Judy's YoYo action has been effect ever since I logged on about an hour ago. Dad bringing in weeds

Mom stomping them into the stick base as she walks about biting at sticks that are not lying down or just moving them to the perimeter
More Moss

And of course time out for mating - I haven't actually counted but I think it's been four times in the past hour

And twice I have seen a little beak touching - Not sure what that is - Also I don't think I have seen the O's do this before

This is the 5th day since they returned. The nest is really looking habitable now. The back corners could use some work, but I don't think they are concerned with them. Just building a wide bowl in the middle.
