Peter at WildEarth thinks he's figured out why this is happening, and is working on a solution. He said it would take about an hour - so with a bit of luck it should be working much better by 10 am!
fingers crossed

The cams are still being stubborn - but there is a new error message, so I'm hoping that means that Peter is part-way through the fix.

I feel a bit guilty about the fact that I can see the cams - but did want to provide a test of what hopefully everyone will be able to see soon.

You weren't watching the North cam, Bev - it's new this year. But the Chehalis Flats Tower cams we watched two years ago had a similar view. The difference is that what we're seeing now is probably the North cam zoomed in as much as it can - the tower cams won't have quite as much of an overview - but they're much closer so should be able to provide some nice close-ups of the eagles near the tower.

And as you may have noticed, Peter seems to have fixed the problem that only allowed one or two of us to watch the cam at any given time.

Bev, I believe what you saw two years ago must have been the tower cam that was installed on the estuary flats. These two (the Harrison Mills cams) are brand new this year and are primarily for following the nesting pair when they are there. However the cams can have a similar view if someone is zooming out to the flats.

Thank you Sharon... This is so exciting....

Hope to watch later today again..

I may have spoken too soon - North cam just froze and South is getting choppy.

Once Peter finishes fixing the problem, we all should be able to watch at once.
