Its position does look a bit unusual, doesn't it, simescan. We have seen an adult sleeping in this nest before, and I do know that they sometimes sleep in odd positions, so I'm hoping all is OK. Perhaps she had a bit too much salmon and has a slight case of indigestion.

She (or he) is awake and doing a bit of preening - still looks a bit uncomfortable to me - but then, I'm not an eagle.
