Well that is not a good thing - one raccoon is more than enough!

I'm not seeing anyone there now, but Charlotte the spider has been busy, so it's hard to be sure.

that is not good for this nest especially Sad Gemini, thank you for the video, these eagles are having more bad luck with this intrusion, wish they could chase these racoons away. nest is windy right now.

At the moment it is raining well - and the nest is looking a soggy spectacle!

It would be nice if the rain would remove some of the bigger parts of the web - it is getting quite hard to see anything at night!

Here's a picture of the soggy nest - it doesn't seem to look much different than yesterday, in spite of the activity last night!

I don't like it that the raccoons feel it is safe to use the nest. I hope it doesn't mean Ma and Pa won't defend when the time comes to seriously get down to nestorating.
