Good morning!

6:39 am
Looks like a wet and wild morning at the nest - definitely too much wind noise to have the sound on, so I probably won't do more than look in once or twice just in case someone is perched there.

Weekly picture of the nest, so we can see if there are changes.

9:57 am
I heard a trill, and brought up the WA cam to see several black birds flying into the tree - which makes me think that one of the adults may be somewhere in the upper branches enjoying a snack.

I can't actually see anything but crows or something similar coming and going, so am not going to include a picture.

Little black birds are also stopping by, looking for pieces of nesting material or possibly tiny snacks.

Thanks for the heads up Judy. I haven't put the cam on, it makes me too sad but would love nothing more on /mother's day than to be able to spot one of my much loved birds!

Happy Mothers day to all of the mothers here. Also, here's to hoping we can wish Ma Delta happy mothers day next year! She's already proved to be a great mother in her dedication alone.

Happy Mother's Day to all the mom's out there, including all our eagle moms!

I just saw an eagle fly in from the right and land on the back tree on the right! It's good to know they are still around!

5:36 There is someone in the tree right now above the nest. I thought that was tail feathers I could see and then the bird turned to the left and I could see the head clearly!

Video of eagle in the tree. Can't tell if it's adult or juvie, it's too dark up there!
