Good reporting - thanks, Sandra!

9:47 am
I'm not seeing an eagle in the tree - but they are really hard to see if they're not moving.
That's definitely a favorite perching place, and I think the branch itself is on the back side of the tree from our perspective, so much of their body is hidden when they're there.
I've heard a few trills.

Hi Judyb :hello: and thanks. What I think is a bird is about an inch or so down from "F".
I'm sitting under a skylight and the sun is fast approaching so I'm going to lose my view of the screen shortly...another Rant:.
(thank goodness I'll be home tomorrow!)

9:56am
Haven't seen anymore action, it's quiet now.
It's a lovely sunny day here today....Left thumb up

I see what you're seeing, Sandra, and my guess is that it's either a leaf or a smaller bird - but I've been fooled a lot of times by various creatures in that location. I've just brought up the cam on the computer where I can easily do s'caps and post them, so here's a pic for anyone who wants to play "find the eagle"!

I've switched the s'cap window back to Lafarge, but am continuing to watch on the netbook - can take s'caps there, but need to transfer them to this computer for posting.

(Rainy day where I am - and nice to see sun on the nests, and hope you're enjoying the spring weather, Sandra!)

Great catch Sandra! Green LOL So good to know they are still defending their nest. Wooh That's a step in the right direction for next year.

11:25 No adult visible in tree, lonesome egg remains in nest.

I am amazed the egg is still here. Each time I bring up the camera I expect it to be gone.

haven't seen or heard any eagles since Sandra's post earlier in the day.

4:00 Egg remains intact! I guess if parents are defending the nest, an intruder would have a difficult time getting to the egg. However, is one adult there 24/7?
I'm glad we didn't have to witness an eaglet getting stuck in the open hole.
