I have this from 11:45pm MST from last night. The egg structure of the one on the left is fragile as I think was mentioned by Judy earlier. The one on the right appears to be the egg that is currently in the nest.

I'm not sure how to post this pic to the forum post itself...help?

Hi SLH: ok I'm not an expert but when you are posting there is a bar in the formatting rectangle -it starts with B in an oval and finishes with Smileys underlined in a an oval. Third from last is File after you've done your typing press File it will come up doubled then enter the number 1 between the two files. Next scroll down to choose file at the bottom of the post and choose your jpeg from your clipboard then press submit . I know it seems complicated but once you've done it it becomes fairly easy. THere are also posters who have the instructions attached to their posts so if my instructions seem too murky just look around for the more experienced posters. Gabrielle

lazy question here and I'm sorry. I've mostly been reading and appreciating the screencaps vs. watching the cams this year.

Watching Ma & Pa Hornby rocking and rocking on their egg with a pip this morning, I wondered if Ma & Pa Delta Owl did that the week their egg had a pip? I will go back later and look at the summaries, just wondered if anyone remembered.

Hoping for a better 2012 for this pair. I am very fond of the Delta eagles.

eta: ok I see back on pp 133-135 Terry would note that ma wriggled on top of the eggs. still wondering if maybe this young pair hasn't figured out how to help the chicks along as much as the older experienced parents do
