6:27 pm
Mom is still on the nest.
A comparison shot of both cams to show how dark it actually is this time of evening.

6:30 pm
Mom has now gone out of view.
No way to know if she's on an outer limb or actually decided to fly off.

What a nice surprise to see these two home at this hour of the morning Smile

Twice one of them laid in the bowl to try it out.

One has walked out of view of the camera. The other is standing looking about.

Both are out of view of the camera now. I didn't appear that either flew off but likely went to an outside branch.

The adult on the branch flew off to the right of the camera.
No sign of the second adult. He's either flown off or in the upper tree.

Wow - looks like I missed out on a lot of activity by going to bed early and sleeping late!

Thanks for the pictures of the nest construction - it would be nice to see them fill in that area, but is reassuring to know that there is mesh underneath.

Both were there when I brought the camera up a little while ago; one flew off shortly thereafter, and the other is still there.

Right after I posted, Mom (?) flew off up to the right.

And now one of them is back, perched on the branch over the nest. And now she(?) is off again. And back again, perched on the branch on the left.

All these "now you see her, now you don't" posts are fun, but I think I'll post this now, and check the other nests. Smile

Both adults were just in the nest and there was another large bird on the top branch which looked like a juvie. They didn't seem bothered at all by the juvie in their tree but it did fly off a few minutes later. I posted a pic but to the wrong forum unfortunately. I was checking on Sidney too and posted there by mistake. Just emailed JKR to delete it from there.

One of them just arrived with a big load of straw, followed by the other who I think brought some small sticks (less sure of that).

Then I think Dad checked out the nestbowl,
