Sent the raccoon picture to my friend who replied: "No wonder those eagles left. There's no privacy in here!" said Raccoon. Titter

Nice picture - and comment from your friend - Bluee! Cool

I'm wondering if it's a young raccoon - hard to get a sense of perspective, but it seems fairly slim, and adults can be a bit on the plump side.

although this is not your typical raccoon nest....they like darker places like hollows in trees or under decks etc....wouldn't it be cool if this one was mature enough to have its own family? It seems this eagle pair may have realized this tree is not the best for their nest and may have moved on. I think it would be interesting to see a raccoon raise a family online.Roll eyes

wave Looks like a juvie to me, that doesn't know any better. I expect it will move on because like Soph9 said, they like dark places and sleep during the day. I think the eagles can have the nest...if they want it Thank You
