Thanks for the great pictures, Debs! The one on the branch left first, and the one in the nest left a minute later, both flying away to the right.

Within seconds, the crows swarmed in to see if they'd left any food. Crows are still there, checking out the nest.

FANTASTIC !!! Who would have ever guessed that they'd FINALLY show an interest in their nest. Very Happy
I sure do hope this is a sign of things to come.

Great job of screen captures JudyB and Debs ! I'll bet it was hard to do screencaps while you were jumping up and down with excitement Rolling on floor laughing

4:16 pm movement in that upper clump of dense leaves over the nest and a trilling call I can't see anything there though

4:45PM the more I look the more convinced I am that there is an eagle there

trills just heard.

5:00PM I don't know.... maybe maybe not.

5;27PM OK not an eagle

Something perched on the front if the nest briefly - started to move into the nest, but didn't go far enough to see more than the edge of the head on the CU cam. Maybe a hawk or falcon?

Yea...finally the eagle has landed! And I missed the whole thing because I was out all day, and unfortunately nowhere near the nest. However I will be there both Saturday and Sunday, with camera in hand, and I am hoping that they will be in a posing type of mood fingers crossed. The forecast is for rain both days, but I don't care...if they decide to make an appearance I'm going to take pictures and will post them regardless of the quality.
Thank you to Debs and JudyB for capturing what we have all been waiting for. I'm sorry to admit it, but I had almost given up on them for this year; now I can't wait to see what happens.
