I think you're right.

I tried to get a screen capture but they were too quick.

Thanks JudyB...you are right, when I log in and refresh, the ads disappear. Now I see the note at the top "logged in members don't see these ads".
I'll just go back into by own little (oblivious) world now .

There is a group of leaves -looking just like a juvie (underneath 'Wildlife)
I was trying to scap it clearly - when a real eagles flew off to the left!
It wasn't on the usual branch - more in the fork - behind 'life Fou'

8:30 am
Something flew right in front of the cam!
But then a couple of crows settled in the tree, so I'm guessing it was one of them.
Looks like a peaceful day, though perhaps cloudy - not seeing sunny colors any more.

9:39 am
I didn't see an arrival - but think someone is perched in the upper left

I think it's an adult, but am not sure that I'm seeing white tailfeathers and not light green leaves.

9:40 am
Just flew away to the right, and I didn't see any white, so it may have been a juvie.

I've been hearing some calls over the last half hour or so, but haven't seen anyone. I am busy with work so not focusing on the cam - but do look over every time I hear something.

2:30 pm
I think something is perched in the usual spot in the upper left, but am not sure if it's a white headed eagle, or something smaller with white sky beyond.

I need to head home now - hopefully someone will see who/what it is when it leaves. Smile

There were two Black birds of the crow family -not as big as a raven - one in the usual branch - the other on the end of the branch to the right!
They played around for a bit then flew away!

Thanks, Pat - I knew I was seeing something!

7:05 am
Just heard some trils, but haven't seen anyone yet.

11:15 am
Heard some calling, and saw someone fly in and out of the branch on the left - no clue if it was an eagle or a crow. I also noticed some white drifting down - too sunny for snow and too early for apple blossoms - so I'm guessing someone has something with white feathers for lunch.

Ah-ha - just saw an eagle fly down from up a little higher and land on the visible branch near the top of the screen - hard to spot in a still photo so I circled it. And I do believe she(?) is eating - still seeing some feathers drifting down from time to time.

11:20 pm
A couple of crows landed on the branch on the left, then took off - with another white-tailed eagle in pursuit. Whoever is eating is still on the branch - I think it's an adult, but haven't really had a look since she(?) flew down.
Now two of the crows are back - more eagle calls - and an adult again swept by from the left and the crows wisely left when they saw him(?) coming.
This is partly guesswork - but I'm thinking that perhaps Dad feels it's important that Mom have a peaceful lunch, and is defending the area to make that happen.
We all know how much I'm into wishful thinking, especially about this nest - but I'm sort of feeling that this is the behavior of a pair that is thinking about nesting. love

Still up there, and still hard to see.
I haven't seen the "flying circus" pass by lately, and the caws from the crows sound a bit more distant, so perhaps they've gone in search of someone else to harass.
