Just checked the nest! Two Ospreys. I managed to get a screen capture which I will post but it might take me a little while. It was 12:15 Calgary time.
As my mom and I watched the male hopped on the back of the female. I missed that screen capture.

Well - he has just claimed Mom for this season

He flew off right after this mating
And I have to fly off to the store - I will keep my recording going to find out what occurs while I am gone

Great captures, Bet! I was AFK but got back in time to see Dad alight on the nest at 12:25 for a min. or two and then fly off again. Great to know they have both made it home again. What a loss it would be if Dad were missing, he is such an awesome provider.
12:33 pm Again, Dad in and out. That was strange???? Mom remains in middle of nest, looking left. Now she turns towards the cam (landward) and back to river again, looks like she is calling out but alas, I cannot hear her.
There are quite a few sticks on the nest already and a forecast of better weather this weekend (at last)!
eta 12:42 pm Dad in and out again but my cam is stop-starting and I may have missed another mating or perhaps a stick delivery? In any case have got to run. Have fun, everyone.

Dad has been VERY busy since his arrival this am. He has been bringing in very long big sticks. Has made a lot of progress in filling up the box.
The magpies, who live somewhere near and below the nest box, stopped in to view the progress.

What a wonderful day at the nest today. We have enjoyed watching the building and seeing the two Os. Thank you for the screen captures and the updates.
The following was taken at 7:45 pm Calgary time.

Lily you need to use the File tab not the Img to post an screencap. You can edit your post so it will appear
I will wait for you to fix it before I post my images in case they duplicate yours
743pm
There is a wind blowing across the nest and the Ospreys did my favorite flying trait - hovering.
The male lifted off first and then the female

The male hovered as the female lifted so they were both flying in place for a moment

He flew off to the right and she dropped down to the left. One has just returned with a batch of dried grass.
