Hello gerard:hello:
7:31am our lone osprey juve is checking out the magpies- I think it is magpies- flying around, still no sign of sibling .

I wish we could see the sandbar- keeps it more interesting, having a little perspective
7:43am while our juvie was eating someone buzzed the nest -missed the scap-
I'll keep cam up but have to get my youngest ready for school so will have my back turned
7:47 looks as though s/he is finished eating the fish -the other tail still there at 8 - juvie hops to 8 and cleans her beak and flies off -missed that scap too. it is 7:49

Good morning,

I haven't had the camera on yet.

Just a note:
I have sent Enmax and the Calgary Zoo a detailed update on the missing chick with links to Rick's pictures and to let them know where she is. Between Enmax and the Zoo I hope they will have a chance to look into things. I've also requested that maybe the bird could be released on the Zoo island so that if it is our chick she will be in familiar territory.

I have also requested that they adjust the camera view.

Hi All! It's been fascinating today. Judy, the area where you live is gorgeous. That is cool with the osprey on the bell.

i too miss the sandbar view so hope it will come back. Janet, I love the story of the black cat - sounds like something most of us would do so we appreciate it. Good views and thank you......

Now we will see what today brings in this busy nest. Thank y'all for every single picture and screen capture posted; the hard word is appreciated as well as every post.

Thank you, Judy - great suggestions! I see they have now adjusted the cam - so perhaps they'll follow up with some of the other ideas!

One chick on the nest for a few minutes. Did a bit of checking for leftovers, and spent some time chasing off magpies, then took off across the river.

One chick on the nest. The moment after I shot this he warned the magpie to leave his nest !

Mapgie continues to harass and is chased off again. Talk about persistent !

9:14 a.m.
The chick flew off toward the sandbar.
I have every confidence that they are learning to be self sufficient and will rarely be seen at the nest.
